Pointe Shoe fittings are by appointment only due to the time and care needed to each fitting please allow up to an hour and a half for each fitting.
The dancers will be shown how to prepare their feet ready for pointe in ascess of the fitting.
Once a pair of shoes has been chosen the dancer will be shown how to sew ribbons on correctly and how to look after the shoes after wearing.
The physical sizing and fit of all dance shoes is very important, especially for youngsters whose feet are still growing and developing. This is particularly true for pointe shoes, which if not sized correctly can lead to dancers experiencing problems in their dance career and then later in life. The staff at Dancewear Stafford have been trained in how to fit pointe shoes correctly and can offer you a wide selection of makes, styles and sizes.
Please contact us to discuss your pointe shoe requirements, book a fitting appointment or just to have a chat and let us answer any questions you may have.
